@Kim N i just got notified that the estimated new shipping date is 2/12, and got charged the difference. So looks like this diamond has been secured.
I will post pics when I receive it.
This is great news. Congratulations!
Oh, that's wonderful that you like the performance more and can't see the inclusion with the naked eye. Also good that they fixed the ring size. I do see what you mean about the prongs. I would wear it around for a little longer, then contact BN if they still bother you after a while.
Congrats! It sounds like overall you're glad you switch to this one in the end. The prongs look ok to my untrained eyes, for what it's worth. Maybe not super fine like something from Victor Canera, but not absolute blobs like some disasters other posters have shared.
I’m glad you found a stone that you love! I wonder if a local jeweler could file the prongs a bit shorter for you? They don’t look bad to me but if they still bother you after a while, you might look into that.
Congratulations!!!! I sincerely think that this one is better than the last one!!! Truly!!! Glad you make the call to exchange it... its proven that the experience of the members in this forum is on spot... I remember when you got the first stone some experienced members are against it... really really happy for you!!! This one is a keeper!!
as for the prongs/setting its an easier problem to fix than “stuck with $30-40k diamond that you don’t like”
Yay! I'm so glad it worked out! And ditto @munchee - fixing a prong/setting will be far easier than a "I don't think I really like it" diamond.
I hope I’m getting it end of month or maybe early March... this whole journey is taking so much time in our life@munchee When will you get your ring back?? I can’t wait to see it!!
That much money is too much for “I don’t think I like it”Yay! I'm so glad it worked out! And ditto @munchee - fixing a prong/setting will be far easier than a "I don't think I really like it" diamond.
