I''ve been purchasing little items here and there for my bridesmaids and now that I''m looking at it, I think I may need to add something else. So far, I''ve gotten them each a little set from Crabtree & Evelynn with jojoba chapstick, oil blotting papers, disposable mini nail files, "la source" hand cream and an antique style tube key that fits on the end of the cream (or whatever else they want) to help roll it up. I also purchased fancy matchboxes and a small candle thats glass with a (real) silver decorative lid. I''ve already spend my budget but I feel like I haven''t gotten them anything substantial. What do you guys think? Would you be happy with these items or should I add/scrap anything? I know it partially depends on the type of wedding I am having too... my FI and I are both students (he is graduate, I am undergrad) so our wedding is on a fairly small budget but will still be nice with about 100 guests.

Please let me know what you think

Unless your friends are greedy or judgmental, I think that''s totally FINE! i would love to get a nice gift package like that. The important part could be the individual and thoughtful note your write to each bridesmaid to go with it, which tells her why she is so special to you and what it meant to have her with you on your wedding day. That''s what will make it meaningful. Not spending more money!

My 2cts.

I think it sounds perfect! I love getting gift sets. I like the idea of adding a note also.

I think what you have is great! Other than a personal note to each bridesmaid, I can''t think of anything else you''d need to include.

I bought my BMs a set from L''Occitane with about 5 items. I am buying their shoes and jewelry for the wedding. I was thinking of getting them something else...maybe something personalized. But that depends on how my funds are looking within the next 2 months...lol

That is a lovely, lovely gift in my opinion! I dont think anyone accepts the invitation to stand up for someone thinking "I''m going to get a great gift out of this"...and if they do, shame on them!

Your friends probably know and understand your limitations with the budget and all, and will more than likely be thrilled to bits over the sweet gift set you are giving them.

Include a note that is personal and covey''s your gratitude and I think you''re good and done, hon!

I think what you mentioned sounds lovely and certainly enough! As everyone mentioned, personal notes will mean a lot. Here is an idea - maybe also include a fun, cute photo of the you and your bridesmaid together, and even put it in a nice frame (Kohls and Target have cute little frames for $10 each or less!) Or, you could take a photo and make it into a greeting card on snapfish or something, and then put your sweet little note to each girl on that. That would be really personalized.

Thanks everyone! I''m feeling alot better about the gifts with all of your lovely comments. I''ll definitely add a sweet note to each gift and possibly do the picture frame idea. I thought about doing it before but I don''t really have any cute recent pics but maybe I can get some at my bridal shower coming up in a couple of weeks. I''m also hoping to do a luncheon at this really awesome tea room the day before the wedding.

I was in 6 weddings, and 5 gave me the jewelry to wear with the bridesmaid dress. The other one gave me a black evening purse and a little Lenox ring dish and some other small items in a keepsake box...that one was my favorite.
