You could definietly reconstitute the display with a handful of stuff in a wholesaler's shop - cool, until you have to organize everything back in the appropriate little wraps!. Low quality material is routinely sold in large parcels - nothing like the attention given on PS to every and each piece. However, I suspect you wouldn't enjoy the resptve type of "material" much (the picture does not seem realistic).

Saaaaaayyyyyyyy...........they look like the "precious stones" I packed in a pouch in Aladdins Castle at Disneyland. I did much better though...all I could pack for a dollar!

I've seen parcels sold as is before. Mostly it's very small stones, (nothing like the big honkers in the middle of the pic), and ill cut.

If you just want them to display well cut stones, rings as a colorful backdrop, it works well, but don't expect any settable stones.
