well today technically is our 6 year anniversary, but we always celebrate it on the third Saturday in February...don''t know why but we do... any way it was my year to think up of something to do and since he recently proposed i didn''t want to do something to extravagant, so i was thinking we could go paint pottery at Color Me Mine, its one of those places where you paint your own pottery and then they make it all glazed looking and you keep it forever... i thought that be a cute way to celebrate since we get to do something we can keep for ever...and after were done there i was thinking to take him to Muvico and do the whole VIP movie dinner thing its really cool, and were totally into the movies...

are these ideas lame and cheesy?

I don''t think your ideas are cheesy at all!

That sounds really creative! I like your idea alot!

Sounds good-go for it!

I think the movie idea is good but I'' not sure about the pottery thing. I thought it was a great idea for my husband and I but he hated it (he doesn''t consider himself creative at all and didn''t really "get it"). I did like my idea for our piece of pottery though: I bought a soap dish and painted it and then put our monograms on it. It was really cute.

yea i started thinking about how hes not creative...and how that might not be good for the whole painting thing, so instead where doing the full VIP muvio night, heres the website with the info on it https://www.muvico.com/Default.asp? im exited!

That place looks sooooo cool

Now that''s something my husband would love! Why can''t they have one of those in San Diego?

ive never been but a couple we know said they went once and it was amazing...i had the FI call today and reserve seats, since if your doing the VIP you need to reserve, and for $30 we got two tickets and our own private balcony seats!!! and we also get free pop corn and drinks throughout the movie, if we decide to have real dinner we can order it before and they serve it during the movie!! how cool is that?

I like the pottery idea! DH and I painted a huge plate for our friends'' wedding a few years ago. We had a good time with the project, we''d never done something "crafty" together at that point. Sometimes the cheesiest things turn out to be the most fun!
