It looks pretty cool, but why do you think it's a gem?
Where did you find it?

Pricescope has several fora.
This one, Rocky Talk, is for diamonds.
Even little old Kenny would bet that's not a diamond.

I've asked admin to move your thread to the forum populated by posters with expertise on colored stones because you're more likely to get more/better answers there.

Oh and when you say it changes color and posted those two pics I, putting on my photographer hat, noticed the white balance of the camera does not match the color of your light source.
That explains the color difference in your to pics.

If your mineral sample really does change colors that is NOT demonstrated in those two pics.
It looks like the sample is sitting on the same surface in both pics.
Ignore the sample and look at the color of the same surface in both pics.

In the first pic the background is gray, but in the second it's bluish green.
That's not possible if that is the same surface, so the color difference also seen in the sample has to be a photography/lighting issue.
Solution is to do a white balance on your camera so it matches the light source used.

Looks like glass to me.

Where was this found -- geographically?
In what setting? -- field, forest, water, ocean, river, etc.
Are the edges sharp?
Can you describe the color? Is it solid throughout, it is striped, any variations?
What is the texture of the surface of the recent break? Smooth, friable, sharp, greasy, etc.
If you shine a blacklight on it, what happens?
If you look through it onto text, is the text rotated or flipped or same as it should be?

I'm on the side of glass, but if you want to figure this out, you need to give loads more information. You can often take things to the local university and speak with someone in geology. They can usually help.

If it was one piece before, and those edges are unpolished and that’s how the ‘stone’ broke - along that sinuous plane - it is likely beach glass.
