YAY!!! My dress is here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I''ve been waiting at the door for the UPS man for hours!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Of course, yesterday, delivering ammunition (yes, as in bullets) for FI, he was here at 1:30pm.... But today, delivering my gown............ he shows up at 5:30pm. I was about nutty by the time he finally arrived!

I don''t have any pics of me in it - don''t have a good place to try it on in my house (wood floors, dusty bunnies and doggie hair!!) and the only person ever around to take pics is FI...

Thanks!! I''m just so excited to have it here in front of me!!! I love this dress & I think it is a great combination of all of the things I was looking for. Plus, I just ordered it 2 weeks ago - the manufacturer had my size & color in stock - which is awesome b/c I''m totally into instant gratification - having to wait months and months for some of this bridal crap is testing me completely.

Anyhow, I think this is all getting real now - I''ve been so buried in books & academic applications that the whole wedding thing started to feel a little abstract... not anymore! Holy crap - only 3 months....

Awww, thanks everyone!! Well, at the very least I will get pics when I go to Tulsa for my bridal shower - I''m going to take the dress with me and try it on at my mom''s house (brand new house w/ no pets & no dust bunnies!!) - but that won''t be for a month...

In the meantime, it''s just too much for me to try to handle by myself - the dress is a lot taller than I am!!!

The only thing that I wished it had that it doesn''t is a corset back - not a big deal I guess, but I kinda wanted to be able to really cinch up my waist. Oh well... that''s what Spanx are for right?

Caribou ~ you''re absolutely right, it was an UPS BOY. It was funny b/c when he delivered the ammo he says "I think it''s bullets" and then when he delivered the dress he says "I don''t think these are bullets" - I was like "damn right, that''s my wedding dress & I''ve been waiting for you all day!!!" - of course I said this in the nicest way possible...

Scintillating ~ It is a Mon Cheri, which I hadn''t really looked at. But, bridesave.com has this dress along with a few others this month as they''re offering 10% off Mon Cheri gowns for Feb. I just loved it so called to see if I could get it in time & they said it would only be a few weeks! Oh, and I got the same color as in the pictures - called "spun gold w/ oyster". Although, I''m not really sure where they get the "spun gold" part - it''s really just a nice ivory. But the oyster accents on the bodice are pretty - kinda greyish taupe??? I like that it''s got some color, but not COLOR.

OH, and I also got the bridesmaid dresses in a couple of weeks ago - 2 months ahead of time!! They are gorgeous too - perfect color & material...

Haha Pebbles ~ I think I know how you feel because I''ve had a terrible time deciding on a dress!!! I was just saying how I wish I could have like 20 weddings b/c I''ve found at least 50 dresses that I really like - most of them very different but all of them fitting a different aspect of my personality.

This is the 3rd dress I''ve ordered/purchased...

My biggest hair dilemna is what color hair I want to go with - I know that sounds kinda strange... But, the color I love the most on me and that I have most of the time is not a real natural color... But I love it... although I''m wondering if I should tone it down just a bit for the wedding...
