It came today!!! The amethyst pendant came out really pretty!

I'm not sure about the chain. It's a bit flimsy and the clasp is flimsy as well.

The only thing I was disappointed in was the presentation of the packaging. It looked like they reused packaging from another item because the box was put together incorrectly, so I disassembled it and put it back together correctly. The ribbon looked "tired" because it looked like it had already been tied together. I had to retie it to make the box "work." I figure I didn't pay very much so I guess I get what I paid for! Overall, I think it's not bad, but I wonder if I should have gotten the BN one instead since it was half the price.

Oh well, off to the birthday party to give it to my friend!

eta. oh and I didn't get that "free" gift in the package as advertised on the website. I'll have to call and mention it. I guess I was expecting what I saw when Oshinbreeze got her shipment. I guess if you buy more you get better treatment

Do I have the right to be annoyed that it wasn''t as perfect as I hoped? Or is it one of those things where we get what we pay for?

How does the necklace look? I don''t think it is wrong to be disappointed but I would focus on the jewelry *not* the packaging. My B&M uses SUCH ugly, cheap ring boxes and I was put off when I saw them. Then I remembered it is what is INSIDE the box that really matters.

So I just got back from the bday party and she LOVES the necklace and wore it immediately. She did have trouble with the clasp which is something I worry about because I don''t like the idea of giving someone something the might break quickly. I guess I was just put off by the fact that the box looked used. I think I must be OCD or something or have some weird sense of presentation. Then I started realizing how some internet jewelers spend alot of time on the presentation of the package and some don''t and wondered how it would effect a business.

Ok so overall, I think I''m relieved that she liked it. Overall, the bezel is VERY pretty for the price and the right color and it was a good experience working with Angara.
