I went last Saturday for my first fitting for my wedding dress! The length is perfect, and the top fits, although arguably a little tight. But right now it is staying the way it is, as I plan to "tone up" a bit

. Plus, I was wearing a strapless bra that went all the way down to my hips, which added a little bulk to my waist, or so I''m telling myself

. So right now the only alteration being done is the bustle. I''m going back in the end of April for a second fitting. Hopefully I will get better pics then!

Oh, and it is a Henry Roth dress in diamond white

But anyway, here is the front of the dress:

Here''s another pic of the front, a little better in focus, but my arms look a little "pudgy" LOL:

And another with the detail around the waist:

The crystals on the bottom of the skirt:

And finally, the back...excuse the wrinkles and pins LOL:

Oh its so pretty Rascal and look at your tiny little waist!!! For the arms, start doing those presses and butterflies with 5 lb weights, and pushups, you will see a difference if you stick with it (arms are soooo hard to tone!)...good luck and I LOVE the pictures!! It looks divine.

Your dress looks beautiful! I love the crystal detail. Congratulations!

Rascal,

I can''t believe that you were holding out on us!

It''s lovely! I just love the details, especially the little buttons up the back, so classic!
You look so great in it! I''m jealous of your great fit!

I second what Mara said about the arms, they''re tough. I keep my dumbells by the television, and make
myself use them while I''m watching tv. They are an obnoxious reminder there lol!

But you look great!

You look fantastic! WOW! I think it looks like it fits like a glove...and your arms don''t look pudgy at all! Congrats on finding such a great dress!

It''s beautiful!! You look great in it!!

Thanks everyone!!!

I wanted to add that full dress pictures were taken by my MOH knealing down, so I''m sure that angle doesn''t help my arms too much LOL.

Well, now I''m off to do my pilates and pushups

Oh Rascal,
It''s the most beautiful dress!!! I really love it and it looks amazing on you!! Love the beading and the details on it. You will be such a princess in that dress girl.

I love it! You look beautiful!!

It''s gorgeous! I love the detail.

I second what Mara recommends. Also look into getting one of those rubber resistance bands. They are sooo easy to use, and you can do many arm exercises with them.

OOOOOOOOOOOOH!!! How did you keep your dress a secret! Its SO pretty! Love the detailing at the waist.. Its so pretty..

Thanks everyone!!!

I''ve posted pics of the dress on the model before, but I was hesitant as to whether I wanted to post the pics of ME in the dress

LOL. They aren''t the best pictures, nor did I chose to bring the best camera with me. Next time I am definitely bringing my better digital camera.

what a beautiful dress! And you have a great figure! Its perfect! Are you wearing a veil? tell us about it? Cant believe you waited till the fitting to psot the dress. I love it!

Thanks! Yup, I have a veil. Just elbow length with a plain old pencil edge (I think that is what it is called). Actually it just arrived the other day. It is nicely hanging in my closet in a "veil bag" lol. I''ll take some pics tomorrow in the daylight. I wanted something very simple since this dress (to me) is very elaborate. I''m a plain gal

Below is a pic of my veil from the website:

I think you look great in the dress! How exciting!

Well, while I''m posting pics, I mind as well post a couple more if you guys don''t mind

First, here is the other dress I really loved. It is practically the same dress as the one I chose, just simpler (no beading/crystals, a-line opposed to ballgown). I still wonder if I made the right decision, but my mother and my MOH loved the dress I ended up buying so much...so I hope they are right! And plus, the ballgown fits the style of our wedding better...but still...I loved this one too:

And here are the BM dresses that just arrived too! The color is a little off in the pics, but you get the idea

And finally the flower girl dress (the bow will also be wine) for my six year old goddaughter:

I love the dress, and it is truly beautiful on you!

Gorgeous dress! It''s perfect on you.

WOW.. Girl you look AWESOME!!

Oh my Rascal, I adore that second dress you posted...I have to say I like it a little bit better than yours...both are really lovely but I love that gauzy a-line look with the hem!! I'm so jealous of your little waist!

oooh I love the detailing on your dress!!! you look great!!! I love the color of your bm dresses tooo.... thanks for finally sharing!!!

You look so pretty

And if you want to see pudgy, un-toned arms, you should check out my dress pics LOL

Seriously though you look lovely and I''m so jealous of how tiny you are!!

The flower girl is going to look adorable, and I think that BM dress will be very flattering on - I''m sure your girls are grateful for that!

Congrats

Rascal, your dress is gorgeous! It looks lovely on you & you have a great figure! The detail at the waist really accents your teeny waist! The BM & flower girl dresses are lovely too.
