I''ve fallen in love with a dress that I can''t see in person.

I am in love with this dress. It is a Watters Inez, several of the stores in my area carry Watters but none in my STATE have this dress! Have you seen anything by another designer that looks similar? Maybe I would have better luck with another designer.

OK so I know nothing about the bridal gown shopping process...can the store like order it for you since they are an authorized seller? That way you could try it on?

Or maybe you could look for it on a website with a good return policy? I also really like the dress

I asked every place I called about ordering it in and was told you can''t just get samples that the store has to purchase the sample so basically nobody seemed like they would be willing to when I asked. I''ve also looked online for return info and all i''ve found has said no returns. The one I found that you could return charged a 50% restocking fee!

yeah I did a search online...BestBridalPieces has a 50% restocking fee

they also have the dress at half bridal...but I couldn''t find their return fee online...maybe you could contact them and ask about their return policy? but it seems like most stores don''t let you return...

some of the preowned wedding dress sites have good return policies...i didn''t see it on preownedweddingdresses.com but maybe another site has it?

I found out there is going to be a spring trunk show one hour north of me in 2 weeks! How do I know if thats a spring dress? Can you try on at trunk shows?

Just my 2 cents. The dress is very cool, but do not buy it without trying it on and hoping for the best. Empire waists can be your best friend or worst enemy and asymetrical horizontal layers can either hide an amazing number of flaws or make you look fat and dumpy. Please don''t take this as a smash on the dress, as a very short, curvy girl, this would be a total disaster on me, but a taller women with thinner hips would look like a million bucks.

I plan to try it on at the trunk show. I realize it could go horribly wrong but I really want to be able to try it to know!

Make sure you still call ahead - I found that they don''t necessarily feature all designs in the collection at the trunk shows.
