I''m still trying to reel in the last of the RSVP''s. It is amazing how many people don''t respond. Grrr!

We had a lot of people that RSVP that did not show up. Then, a few that didn''t send back the card actually showed up. I would say that fewer showed up than planned.

I find this the epitome of rudeness! Especially when you have a sit-down dinner and you are paying hundreds of dollars per person!! We had several couples that RSVP''d and then didn''t show. One couple called us the day of the wedding with a family emergency, so at least we could deal with that. One was my DH''s boss!!! We had several others too...my parents (who paid for the wedding) couldn''t believe it!

My family was the problem with RSVPs. They assumed we knew whether or not they were coming. We are having a sit down with 2 choices for entrees so obviously we NEED to know.

We gave our final number on Saturday when we finalized and we were 120folks lower than we invited. We should have invited more. We will have almost 35 extra entree''s.

Ame---Could you talk your caterer into boxing up the 35 entries so you and your fiance could freeze them for "gourmet frozen dinner" for when you get back from your honeymoon?

it''s so frustrating when people don''t RSVP at all!, I''m in 1 1/2 months and send the invites weeeeeeks ago, and NO ONE has RSVP''d! They''re like, ''well, you KNOW we are coming, why should we?'' geeeez, why do you think I asked?

We did and they said that because it''s keep heated that long and made so early in the night its actually not safe to do that. I wish they would though. My mom said she is going to bring some tupperware to the reception and do just that. haha!
