Jewel Heist in NYC Diamond District

Just read this story in today''s NY Post. Very scary stuff. The guys posed as FedEx delivery men and robbed the place of up to $10 million worth of jewels. I hope nobody we know ever has to go through something like this.

wow.. sort of scary. i didnt hear a thing about it until this morning... and im less than a block away! ill have to keepy me eyes out for FedEx guys running a muck!

even more so if they start dropping things

It wasn''t him. The burglers stole from a place called Doppelt & Greenwald Diamonds.

I don''t know about Fedex, but this is why UPS is very strict about who gets their hands on their uniforms. You will hear occassionally of people who were robbed or worse by people claiming to be UPS or FedEx personnel. Not very good publicity for the companies...
