Are you doing the traditional Sunday afternoon thing, or are you waiting until after sundown on Saturday night? I just feel like Sat night after sundown might be too late because we want to have kids there.

How about Sunday evening? I feel like that might be inconvenient for guests, but I know people have done it.

We''re doing a Sunday wedding (though not for any religious reasons - although I am Jewish, my fiance''s not), but we''re doing it on a holiday weekend when people have Monday off. That way, it shouldn''t be any less convenient than a Saturday.

We are getting married in a conservative synagague on a Sunday evening (ceremony starting at like 5 or 5:30). I think it is a good time because the reception won't be going on too late, although there aren't going to be many children (if any) there. I don't think any guests will be inconvenienced at the time either, as we are having the wedding in Miami, which is a very late night kind of city... Anyway, I think that you shoud have it whenever you feel most comfortable. Best Wishes.

We''re having a late afternoon (4:30ish) service in a Reform synagogue on Sunday in the summer in San Francisco. I really think that people will be fine with it as long as it doesn''t go super-late - we''re anticipating our reception should end no later than 10:30 or 11, and for the people coming in from out of town it really just means taking a Monday off instead of a Friday.
