Anyone used them? http://www.jomashop.com/
I understand they are not an AD, but, their prices seem low.

Yep! This is exactly where I was. It was kind of like the "Hole in my Bucket, Dear Liza" song. Hubby finally made an executive decision and picked one. I can''t wait to see what you pick out!Date: 4/20/2008 9:13:03 PM

Well, there seems to be a big gap in prices. There are watches like Ebel and Tag that I like similar to the one you chose, but even without diamond bezels, they are over $2000 from authorized dealers and maybe $1500 from somewhere like JomaShop. I could pay $1500, but I am a little fearful about what happens when you need something done to the watch! Now I just get a new watch if my watch doesn''t work! There are some upper end Citizen Eco-Drive watches that are pretty in the $400-600 range, and I am considering a couple of those. So I haven''t really seen any in the $800-1000 range that I like, except now I know the Michelle falls in that category. Movado does, too, but I can really find one of those that I like. The Ebel and Tags with diamond bezels are closer to $2500-3000 with diamond bezels (from non-AD), and that seems so crazy for stainless steel! But I do want the smaller size (24-26mm if round). I just want one that is a little more complimentary of my rings than the one I have now which looks a little more sporty.
Thank you DF! I got the SS bracelet, but, I''ll get a few fun straps for summer. I was just at Nordstrom and they had the cutest metalic gold strap with a SS and diamond bezel. I loved it! It''s a must for summer.Date: 4/20/2008 9:47:30 PM

I love it. Did you go with a bracelet or strap?
Thanks! I like it, too. Do you change the strap often? I was wondering how easy it is in reality.Date: 4/22/2008 5:35:47 PM

I have a michelle watch too! I love it! Mine doesn''t have any diamonds, but I get compliments on it all the time. Plus the fact you can change the strap easily too is great.
Beautiful choice!
Thank you Skippy! I''m great! Busy, but, great. I''ve been MIA here. PS sadly gets to be a last priority. I even have a few projects I want to work on, but, haven''t even had the time to think about.Date: 4/24/2008 3:53:19 PM

Yay Miranda; I love it!!! How are you?My biggest boy is starting high school in the fall *sob* *sob*so we''ve been busy picking out classes. I''m trying hard not to overload him, but, UCLA is his goal. He''s always been interested in medicine so medical school may be a possibility post grad. Other than that it''s just a busy time of year making vacation plans, end of school year plans, etc. We were thinking about flying out your way and taking a trip, but, I think we may go to the Grand Canyon instead. Or maybe Monterey...I dunno yet! I suggested staying home and sleeping. Nobody else was on board with that, LOL!
How are you!?!? Any summer plans for you?
Haha! I''d love to meet you, too, Skippy!Date: 4/28/2008 12:14:11 PM

Wow, it amazes me how fast kids grow. I was at my friends birthday party and we were talking about their kids being little and one wasn''t born when we met them and now one is going to graduate and the other one is 8!!! Time fly''s so fast; I bet you love seeing them get bigger and wise but you miss when they were so little!!! How old are your kids? I remember your dd getting her ears pierced. hehe
I am great, thanks for asking. My mom has a hip surgery coming up in June so I am sure I will be stopping by more often to check on her and my father. Before that we are going on a little vacation to St.Louis/Chicago. I am excited because I never been to those 2 city''s before but it will be a pretty quick trip. Nothing else exciting. How is the yard? Is it finished?? How fun!
Thanks Miranda, you are so sweet! Wow, you will be busy this fall! That is so cute that you met your hubby when you were 14; how many years have you been married? Wow, lots of stuff this April; happy birthday to your son and anniversary to you!!Date: 4/28/2008 5:11:18 PM

You are not kidding about time going by so fast. And I''ve heard that it goes by even faster when they reach high school! I do love seeing them get older and they are such good kids and make such good choices, I just couldn''t be more proud of them...So far...We ARE approaching the most difficult years. I''m terribly nervous about that. My oldest will be 14 (gasp) on Saturday. That freaks me out because I was 14 when I met DH. My middle son is 12 and at a very easy stage so that is helping things. And DD is 5 - and still has the adoreable earrings. In the fall I''ll have one starting high school, one in middle school, and one starting kindergarten. My fall schedule will be hectic to say the least. Oh how I wish DH still worked from home, LOL!
I''ll keep your mom in my thoughts. Hip surgery does not sound fun! They are lucky to have you to check in on them! Your trip sounds fun. I haven''t been to Chicago, but, it is one of DH''s favorite cities. You will have a blast!
Ahhhhhh, the yard is done! It has been since late Jan. It is so nice to have all of the dirt gone. I have been meaning to post pics, but, it''s a well known fact that I''m a picture flake!I''ll get to it!
Sorry Skippy - I just noticed this! Thanks for the anniversay and bday wishes for our son! You are always such a honey!Date: 4/29/2008 11:33:52 AM

Yep, I met DH at HS orientation when I was 14 and he was 16. My sister introduced us (he was a friend of hers that called the house regurlarly - I never had a face to put with a name) and it was honestly the first time in my entire life that I've ever been speechless. I could not think of anything at all to say. I know I was young, but, it was the most surreal moment of my entire life. DH asked my sister if I spoke. LOL!!! Good times. The stars aligned and we've been connected from then on. I don't think he's always delighted that the words NEVER fail to come now!
We've been married for 13 years. Yes, if you do the math you will see that we have a 14 year old, but, have been married 13 yearsWe were a bit hippie-ish back in the day. My frustrated parents used to tell us that we couldn't just live on love. HA - we showed them! I think that's all you really need. My boys are a bit scandalized (in a silly way) by it, but, with the divorce rate hovering at 50% us getting married when DS was 1 is really not a concern for me. I try to instill in them that commitment and hard work are the important things...In all areas of life.
