How is this company? Why are their prices so low? Are the emeralds as described?

I have, they have great customer service, and they have have a variety range of emerald qualities. If you want a fine loose emerald for a ring. or just on its own you would have to call them, or email them and they will help you out with a stone that is in your budget (they have better loose stones that are not always listed on website). I think sometimes prices are low as well because they go to Colombian to get stone from the mine source, as you can see pictures of him there on their instagram. Here is a pic of a ring I made were I upgraded the emerald. In real life it is a deep bright blue green, but it is hard to capture color, and has better clarity than seen in photo

I never purchased from them, but it’s difficult to find good emerald dealers outside of Columbia, where the best stones hail from. Unfortunately, obtaining a gem from a Columbian dealer is one thing, but if you want to return it, that’s a a bit more difficult and risky.

JR is in Florida I believe, so it’s not such a hassle, especially if you also live in the USA. They also have a huge selection.

They offer a wide variety of emeralds. I’ve seen them selling budget friendly emeralds (lighter colors or high levels of treatment) as well as high quality emeralds that come with much higher price tags.

I’ve actually purchased (and returned) an emerald to them. They have awesome customer service. I reached out via Instagram and they were more than happy to send me a bunch of pics / videos.
