Just in Time for Our 1st Anniversary!

My husband is currently on a 15 month (military) deployment to the Middle East. He's been gone for 6 months. I've been through a combat deployment weith my son (Marine), but this is the first deployment for my husband since we've been together. He's deployed before, but that was before we met.

Well, anyway, he is on his way home right now for his 18 days of R&R!!! He just called me and is leaving Germany now, so he will be here some time tomorrow! Wooohooo! Our 1st Anniversary is Wednesday, so Happy Anniversary to me! I couldn't ask for a better gift!!!

I've spent the last few days getting the fridge and cupboards stocked with all his favorites, and tonight I'll be baking my behind off!

Diamondfan - he was originally slated for his 18 days in April, but one of his fellow soldiers and my hubby figured out that their leave was during each other''s anniversary, so they swapped!!!

These are excellent preparatons that I''m sure he will love, but I imagine that if my hubby was gone for six months I might have some other preparations to make as well: shaving, waxing, polishing, coloring, perfuming etc etc etc!
