About my DH. His book is in the process of being published by Oxford (OUP)

Sounds fascinating. I enjoy naval history. Played such a big role in the earlier wars, ships of the line, etc.

Yes, his first book. He has published Articles in other acedemic journals... but he is quite proud of himself. I am proud of him as well. He has put a lot of life into this book. He has already begun the next...LOL

Congratulations! You should be proud of him, it is a big accomplishment. Writing a book is one of those things I say I want to do before I die. Don''t know if I will, but something to aspire towards.

I know I can be overly cautious but...I wouldn''t post that link - anyone can now look up your DH and fairly easily find where you and your family live and where he works (and you''ve posted pictures of you and your kids before). I just wouldn''t be comfortable with my personal info out there on the internet.

CONGRATULATIONS! I always wante to publish a few children''s books but not sure how to go about it. I guess I''ll wait a few more years to get some great ideas from my kids and their stress in school. Congrats again!
