My current bf and I have been dating for about 3 months, and I''m wondering if he is the one. I''m hoping for next Christmas (we met at a New Years Eve party). We''ll see how it goes this summer. Anyway, just wanted to say "hi" to everyone.

I think 3 months is probably a bit early to be getting anxious.

I''m 35 and FI and I dated for almost 2.5 years before we were engaged - and had been living together for over 2 years.

In the first 3 months of a relationship, your endorphin and serotonin levels will be sky-high - it''s sensible to wait till your feet (and brain) are back on planet earth before making any lifechanging decisions.

Personally, I would want to be with someone through all four seasons before making a complete decision - and this from the girl who told her mother she''d met her future husband after the first date!

In any case, congratulations on finding a man who makes you so happy - enjoy that for now and don''t spoil it by agonising over an engagement that will probably eventually come anyway if things continue to be so good!

I know everyone''s different, but in my opinion, three months is pretty early to be feel anxious about getting engaged; even if *you''re* about ready now, it could be kinda scary to your boyfriend if you push for it so early in the relationship. Have you guys had any serious talks about the future yet? Best wishes and keep us informed of what''s going on!
