My son and daughter are visiting me......they are in the garage , assembling my gift, an elliptical trainer (so that I can get back in shape between gym workouts!!!!)

As a mother, I thank you all of you. I also wish all the other mothers here all the best. I feel doubly blessed because my own mother is still living, healthy, and "with it" at 87. (I gave her roses while I was in Connecticut a couple of days ago.) The other half of the equation is my daughter, who allowed me to *be* a mother. She is 12, and although I have to restrain myself from smacking her just about every day, I truly thank God for her. As many of you know, she is adopted, and I feel she was the one meant for me.

I wish all of you, not just the mothers and the parents, lives full of love.

Oh, Deb, you crack me up! Happy Mother''s Day especially to you dealing with your hormonal adolescent beautiful PITA child. I remember I was no picnic either at that age.
