WTB Lab/Moissanite Old Mine or Old Euro Travel Ring <$500

I'm looking for an inexpensive ring to wear on holiday that evokes the feeling of my engagement ring.

Wishlist...

• Lab diamond or moissanite (prefer to avoid CZ)
  • Bonus points - AVC moissy
• 2-3 ct vibe
• OMC shape/faceting preferred but open to an OEC look
• <$500
• Yellow or rose gold
• Prefer low-profile settings
• Sizeable to a 3.5

Listing is not mine but I ended up with the ring. I got it to test out if I like stones that size, so now that I got my forever ring I don't need it anymore.

Price would be a tad over your limit, and it would need to be resized.

@lulu_ma kindly tracked down a nice CZ supplier (who seems to be Shan Adams', too) https://www.diamondcz.co.uk/gem.php?level=3&expand=Warm&first=OldxzxMinexzxCut&second=Warm I've ordered the 8mm and 9mm versions so that I can make sure I can get behind diamond simulants before dropping money on a set ring.

It’s not the same as Shan Adams (from Old Mine Rocks) but the cuts are usually very good considering the price! Shan Adams are even nicer I believe but more expensive.

how quickly are you looking to purchase the ring? if time was on your side you could get one made overseas or purchase from an etsy vendor for that price. I recently made a travel ring that I love and turn around time took a few weeks. I've also had a great experience with an etsy vendor recently. Happy to share info if interested.

I worked with Winnie Zhow who I heard about via reddit. Yes, she provided the stone and it was custom cut to the size I requested. This is actually my stone:

I had it set in a simple 14k six prong solitaire.
Winnie was so great to work with- Kind,excellent communication and kept me in the loop the whole time.

It's a nicely built, sturdy ring and I've really been enjoying it - wearing when I travel or activities like park with the kiddos.

I'm also currently working with an Etsy vendor and a piece- obrion jewels. He's based in India and although I can't vouch for the product yet, communications so far have been great and customer service has surpassed any other Indian vendors I've reached out to or work with previously. I believe he can also custom cut the stone to your size preference and here's one of his listings that would fall into what you're looking for :
