Labradorite?? Andeseine??

Which is it? Does anyone know where it comes from? Is it treated? Help, I''ve been watching JTV and I really want to buy one but I don''t know enough about the stone!!! HELP?!?!!

yeah i would like to find out all that as well i found a website called webmineral.com. it has info about andesine and labradorite but of course i go there to find out and it says that the site has exseeded its bandwidth limit so ill keep trying. i hope your able to find that piece of andesine labradorite that catches your eye i just recieved a 6mm round green andesine from jtv and love it i guess i got it in time there inventory is nothing now

there has been much discussion regarding the two on other forums over the course of the last several years. do a google search and i''m sure you''ll find a lot of info. also search pricescope: MJO [maurice] used to post here quite a bit and i think he posted about this topic. i purchased a piece from a different vendor and sent it back: too much extinction going on for my taste and i wasn''t willing to put out bigger bucks for a stone that really is too soft for a ring. such is life.

It's a very pretty stone but much too soft for everyday wear unless well protected and worn as earrings or a pendant. Many are too light or have too strong of a brown undertone. To me, it's just hype to sell more red/green sunstones while asking for higher prices.
