The sun is getting lower this time of year
I have a crystal hanging in the kitchen window and we get these all over the lounge (yes this is a Christmas decoration in my kitchen)

Thank you! It's 4.42ct, so a great size. I got it from PrimaGems back when Mahenges that size were still around.

Free form Red Mahenge spinel. I got these from PrimaGems and was told it was a rare color for Mahenges and aren't found in large sizes. I got them quite awhile ago, so that could have changed, but they have no orange, they are almost raspberry color, but can look quite red in some lighting.

Welp, this made my day! I used to love when they'd have Kermit off singing in the swamp. I miss this version of the Muppets. *sigh*

Anyway, yes, a few of us have posted fanta garnets here! They're so named after the beloved soft drink, and it's not difficult to see why!

My amber necklace in pieces while i try to extend it (due to fat neck) but im having trouble matching the yellow (it is yellow not orange but an orangy yellow - the citrine didn't match)
But in real life the amber is the colour the citrene photographed as which is itself much more pale

It is a chrysoberyl. And yes for the sapphire, the setting turns out working great with the sapphire.
