My cheery amber
Its in peices because i brought it as part of a really ugly reconfigured set
horrible fake gold findings on the braclete, the ugliest drop earings you have ever seen, it also had garnets in the necklace :(2 butt ugly

it had been a rope but had been made into two sets :(2

It is going to be fabulous again !

@Shiny Black Cat Happy to see our first amber post!

@Kalynna Wow... that's an orange rarity, my friend!!

@Daisys and Diamonds Nothing like a well done 3-stone ring... that topaz is super sweet.

@Atwater You have exceptional taste, lady! Love the Merelani mint.

@PrecisionGem I must say we have some of the nicest riding trails up here, especially in the fall. It's my happy place!

@lilmosun Is that our first CRD ring? Beautimous!!

@thirdrock Yay, our first kunzite! Such a pleasure to see so many different species and varieties of gemstone in this thread!!

You guys are really blowing me away... this turned into such a fun, collaborative effort!!

Yes ORANGE is up next, friends!!

Hey I thought of a slightly unusual orange choice this go-round (though not as exotic as clinohumite!)... spiny oyster shell.

@stracci2000 Are you familiar with Navajo designer Artie Yellowhorse? She's my absolute fave!!

YELLOW is next, my peeps!

Yes, I have seen her work in many galleries!
I love the signature granulated frames in her pieces.
That spiny oyster is blazing!

Green: chrome tourmaline. It is very difficult to photograph. There is no yellow in it but a very slight tint of blue. It reminds me of deep forest green.

Next: blue.

@lilmosun Is that our first CRD ring? Beautimous!!

thank you but not the first...4 of the rings are CRD (both pink spinel rings, emerald cab and unheated purple tanzi).

I usually do 2-3 projects/year with Yvonne. I love working with her. Here is a picture taken 3 years ago of my CRD rings (more have been added since and I also have some pendants and earrings too.)

@icy_jade Picture perfect yellow sapphire!

@Atwater Our first chrome tourmaline... stunning!!

@lilmosun Oh I know you have many! I just love that it was the first CRD shared to this thread (I believe)!! What a collection!!

@thirdrock Fabulous sleeping beauty turq suite, my friend!

PURPLE is up!!

@Autumn in New England and @elle_71125 The halo is spinel. I love pink and orange together!

Autumn- is Yvonne setting outside stones now?

Every once in a while, you see a piece that really catches your eye and gets your design juices flowing. I've had that happen about a dozen times with this thread so far, lol, but that spess and spinel ring of yours is definitely high on my list!

So I purchased the paraiba bags from Yvonne, and since we were concerned about another jeweler setting them properly (read: carefully!), she kindly agreed to set my pink tourm alongside them. But she's so busy (mostly setting @lilmosun's pieces ) that I don't believe she's accepting work on stones purchased elsewhere. You never know when that may change in the future though!

And that garnet ring is so brilliant!! What a unique setting.

ORANGE is next!
