It turned out beautifully!

Re: Tanzanian ruby, yes, this one fluoresces nicely. I don’t have any non-Burmese rubies so this will be fun for me. It has just a bit of that purple tinge found in Burmese stones, and could pass for Burmese.

No pink so far so I am going to sneak in my jadeite that colour shifts and shows both pink and lavender.

It certainly counts! What an ethereal color, my friend, and it complements your skin so nicely. I've said it before and I'll say it again, I think jadeite has the best pink/blue/lavender color.

I'm not a star connoisseur, but that one looks like it has really nice structure (and color)! I've always been enamored with ruby stars... and black sapphire stars. I wanted to add a brown and black category to our "rainbow," but I didn't think enough folks would own those shades!

Oh darn, that was when I was absent for a bit. I'm so glad you decided to share it again here! Maybe you can have the best of both worlds, and do a 3-stone with the pinks, then halo the whole thing. I just love upcycled projects, and there's a lot of sentimental value in this one.

I don't think I've ever seen a purple star sapphire? Isn't that enchanting! And I love the cape amethyst bracelet as well.

I think we're on to PINK! I kind of altered the rainbow a bit to have more gem variety. So I omitted indigo, because it's a bit repetitious for our purposes with blue and violet/purple, and added pink. lol But there are no hard and fast rules. Post whatever you like, really. As long as it's C O L O R F U L!

So juicy! This is the kind of look I was trying to go for with my rubellite/spess/demantoid composite. Not sure I'm accomplishing it, but I guess we'll see. I will sometimes opt for 2 colors, but 3 seems to be the perfect number for these types of pieces. So we have spess, emerald, and spinel? It's gorgeous. You have nice hands too.

You're killing me, Crimson! I have wanted golden SS pearls for so long. And these are positively stunning. Actually, I long for a giant multicolor Tahitian necklace.

So cool! I had a heck of a time finding two 2.5mm accent purples for my lavender spinel ring. I ended up having to go with "pinkish-purples."

That one was cut by Jonathan Schwing from Geologic Spectrum. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the box and the color in person was nicer than the pictures showed
