I really like that dress. I tried it on, and had I gotten it I would have gotten the all white. My mom wasn''t too crazy about it though. I think the flower threw her off. I never even thought about replacing it with a brooch. Great idea!

self love --- love that dress! my cousin''s bf was leafing through my bridal mags and pointed it out and said "why can''t more girls choose dresses like this one..it''s simple and elegant, but still sexy." i totally agree...love it even more with the brooch!

vuittongal - that is one of my FAVORITE lazaro dresses!! i love the dropped waist and the simplicity of the design but with the elegant touch of the embroidery at the waist. i would have gotten it except for the fact that it was ballgown and i wanted a slimmer silhouette. gorgeous!

LOVE the red dresses!!! it''s my favorite color and my favorite color on me...i''ll be wearing a red traditional dress for aprt of the day too!

thanks ladies for all the support on the brooch. i''m kind of excited about it b/c now no one can have the same dress as me. hee hee! one of a kind!

but i''ve actually gone on a whole new tangent...i stumbled upon my ultimate dress dress on ebay on friday. apparently there''s a huge market in china to custom make gowns, for a song, and i''m just impulsive enough to do this. the price is only 1/3 of the alteration cost I expect to pay on the two gowns i already bought for the LA and slovenia weddings, so that''s my jusification for being so impulsive. actually, is it considered impulsive if i''ve been mulling this over for almost 3 days now??

MS--I know--that is the million $$ question! Which one won''t I wear???? UGH!!!!!! I think I''d wear this new one to both weddings!! I''m that much in love with it! Jeez!

The other one is a huge poufy ball gown but on the hanger it just doesn''t have the same "oompf" as it will look with the crinoline ballgown slip, so as soon as the slip arrives I will try it on and try to get one of my girlfriends over to take pictures (hopefully over the weekend). I really do love the poufy ball gown too! Oh decisions, decisions...
