Nan, I love this shot of Angello but it''s a little blurry.

Try taking some without the flash and use your macro-mode. It''s the little flower symbol on the back of your camera.

And it might help if you put Angello on the windowsill.

Try to keep your hands from shaking. A tripod is useful for this.

Oh Nan, this is just wonderful news! Angello looks so happy and definitely ready to get out of there. Prayers continuing that he'll be HOME soon!!!!!

Patty, I spit coffee on my monitor. I am still trying to keep from having an accident. Really too funny. But Naughty Nan deserves it.

*Update*

Angello was moved to the step-down ICU unit today at 3:30pm.

I''m so nervous to have him there. It''s just not the same. I guess they feel he''s healthy enough for this move.

BUT- the docs think it could be another few WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEKS until we are home. OMG- I''m going to go

coo coo, coo coo, coo coo for Cocoa PUFFSSSSSSSSSS

It's so great that Angello is doing better! YAY!!!

That sucks about potentially having to be there a few more WEEKS. I hope the time flies. Let me know if you want me to send you a big pile of celebrity rag mags to keep you occupied.

And BTW - he has got the cutest smile I have seen EVER.

Thanks belle, mrssalvo, blueroses and Sundial.

Nan, I was joking about ALL of my photo tips and was surprised to hear that you really did use macro mode with Angello. He's not THAT small, is he?
33.gif

I'm glad to hear that he was well enough to move to the step-down unit but I'm sorry that he'll be there for a few more WEEKS. Hang in there and try not to go TOO cukoo!

Yeay! Prayers continue.

Bummer about the potential for a few more weeks but you certainly don''t want him to come home till he''s good and ready - healthwise that is!

He is such a cutie patooty....

Nan,

It's great news that he is so much better, but don't let up on the hospital. The more pressure they feel, the better care Angello will get (the squeaky wheel and all that). If you see anything starting to slip, give them a letter saying you hold them legally responsible for any neglect, including moving Angello out of the ICU.

It is not the fault of the hospital workers that Angello needed surgery, but it is the fault of the hospital administrators that they don't have enough staff (and enough trained staff) to provide the excellent patient care that every patient deserves. Keep them frightened.

Deb

Excellent news!!

Just be sure to keep an eye on the staff in the new unit - don''t let them mess up.

I talked to Nan earlier today and she said that Angello gets to stay another day in the step down unit, so that''s good news. He is doing well and had a great night last night. I''ll let you know more next time I talk to her this afternoon.
