I just talked to Nan and so far so good with Angello''s tummy. His feeds are back on and they changed his chest bandage. They hope to keep him in the step down unit for a good while. The nurses want him there until he goes home, we''ll see. So it''a a good day for our little guy!!!

YES!!!!!!

I have to say that ALL the nurses are behind our little Angello, and if they have ANY say in it, he will stay put until it''s time to go home. They have been awesome and so has Dr. Berger. (He is Angello''s cardiologist).

I just wanted to share a really sweet story that Nan just told me as she was headed back to the hospital tonight. She was telling me that the Priest that blessed Angello before his first surgery when Angello was only a week old kept walking by Angello's room today. He walks in and says the Angels have pulled me in here. Nan said you were the one that blessed Angello 2 years ago. A look of recognition came over his face. He then said a very sweet prayer for Angello and his heart. Asking the lord to help it beat stronger and said a very nice prayer for Nan. I was touched by this, and so was she.

It is so nice that Nan and Angello have so much support and so many people wishing them well. That was a lovely story Lisa. Glad Angello is doing well.

What a sweet, sweet story, and a fabulous boost for Nan, I''m sure! Thanks for sharing, Lisa.

that is very cool.

I talked to Nan just a while ago and Angello is still throwing up. They are going to do an echo-cardiagram (SP) to see what his heart function is. That''s all I know for now.

Sorry he''s having a rough time. Hope things improve.

May the Lord be with Angello and with Nan during this stressful time. My prayer continue.

So sorry to hear this.

Just checking in. This made me cry, it''s so sweet.

I hope Angello has a better day today.

Nan told me that they are working to manage his fluids. They will put in a pic line so they don''t have to stick him everytime they need blood etc... He is still throwing up. That''s it for now.

a picc line is a good idea. it will buy him some more time in step-down too, unless they manage picc''s on the floor there. i hope he starts feeling better soon

That''s what I thought too belle. I told Nan he can''t be moved until he is stable and right now he isn''t anywhere near ready to be moved to the regular floor. So I guess it''s a good thing that will by him more time on this unit.

Could the antibiotics be upsetting his stomach? Still praying for him.

Poor little thing.... We are all pulling for you, Angello. Hopefully there''s a little part of you that can feel all this love and positive energy. It''s time to get well, buddy...

Angello and Nan,

I''m still thinking of you guys constantly. I hope he gets better soon. Poor guy, he''s been through so much.

This is from Saturday when he had some "special" visitors.

Here is a pic of that wonderful Priest.
He baptized Angello back in July of 2003 the day before his first surgery.

He told me he wanted to write a book about mothers; their strength and commitment.
He said Mothers are so close to the likeness of God.
