Nan, while it''s great to see Angello, it''s even better to see YOU!

I think this is a first, isn''t it? You can see where Angello got his sweet smile. It''s nice to finally SEE you.

Continued strength and positive thoughts!

Wow, has it really been 5 weeks. Nan, thanks for sharing all the pics. He''s such a cute little guy. I''m glad to see the pic of you holding him. I wondered if it was possible since he''s all hooked up and it warms my heart to see him in his mommy''s arms. My prayers will continue that he will get stronger and stronger each day. I love what your priest said about mommy''s being the most like God. there is no love like it.

So wonderful to see you and your family again... Beautiful! Continued prayers from California for dear Angello!

*Hugs*,

Kayla, Ben, Leo, and ''Baby-Balloon''.

This is darling. Are they all watching the television?

And which of the little boys is missing here?

Nan, I''m so glad to see that Angello is sitting up - he looks like he could almost be discharged soon. It must be thanks to all the prayers and good thoughts sent your way.

Take care.

Omigosh he is so cute I just want to EAT HIM UP!!!!! I love the picture of the kids watching tv (?) and Angello looking at them...just too sweet. I also loved the pic of you and Angello. It is true that mothers are truly in the likeness of God. Unconditionally loving, truly resilient women who have endless concern for their children, above themselves. I hope you guys catch a break soon and can feel better and go home!!!

OOoooooh my goodness! It''s SO good to see little Angello sitting up hanging out with his siblings!
My goodness Nan - you have such an incredibly GORGEOUS family.
Sleeptight Sevens Clan!

Scintillating....

Love the pictures, Nan! So adorable - you too!

In the first one with him sitting up in bed - he looks so "done" with the hospital. He seems to have that look of "Just get me out of here and back home where I belong!"

Hopefully soon....

Nan- the priest story is just so sweet! It''s nice to know you''re not the only one watching over Angello. And all of your kids are so beautiful! I bet seeing them is very uplifting for Angello''s little spirit.

... off to the library now, so I can help take care of little guys like Angello in a couple years!

Oh what a sweet

. I am thrilled to see that he is sitting up and looking like he wants to play. I cannot wait to see the Angello came home today thread!

Angello was having a better day when I talked to Nan earlier. They are giving him his medicines orally and there is no need for a pic line right now. That''s all I know for now.

That''s great to hear, Lisa. Thank you for the info!

Awwww... it''s so good to see Angelo sitting up, and out of bed in your arms. That has to feel good for both of you!

I continue to hope and pray that recovery is quick, and you are both home with that gorgeous clan of yours post haste! 5 weeks is a really long time to be hanging out at the hospital.

Keep sending the good news! LOVE to hear it!

So, after FIVE lonnnngggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg
ggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg
ggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg
weeks my patience REALLY has to kick in now.

Oh, give me strength.

New news- he is more stable today.
His numbers look good. They tried "drying" him out yesterday but it showed no difference with his breathing.
They did a sonogram of his lungs and other areas. They found that his LEFT, ofcourse it had to be the left; diaphram (spelling)
is raised. They did a "special" xray and found that it doesn''t move when he breathes.
It could be a side effect from the cardiac surgery that will right itself in time or it could have been that way all along.
It keeps him from taking nice deep breaths with the left lung.
So, they are waiting to get a report about that decision.

The dressing will be changed tomorrow and they plan to move him to the floor.

WE COULD BE LOOKING AT ANOTHER TWO WEEKS PEOPLE!!! The poor kid. Since his "open" wound is located at the sternum they won''t send him home with the vac dressing.
so- that''s where it stands. I''m nutty- and Angello has won the hearts of everyone he has come in contact with!

I hope the next few weeks fly by...and it''s smooth sailing from here to home!

Keep your chin up and your eye on the prize - getting Angello back home where he belongs.

Continuing strength and well wishes to you both.

He told me he wanted to write a book about mothers; their strength and commitment.
He said Mothers are so close to the likeness of God.

Oh Nan, truer words could not be spoken. Your strength is unbelievable. And I'm sure you are the exact medicine that Angello needs. He certainly has won all of us over--you both have. Prayers continuing. Two more weeks--I hope they fly by...
