They changed Angello''s dressing on his chest wound and it is healing nicely. He may get moved to the regular floor today. We''ll see.

Wonderful pics. Thanks for sharing Nan. I love seeing pics of Angello. He is such a darling. Many good thoughts for a hassle free recovery from here.

I am sooo glad to hear he is doing better.
Prayers are continuing.

I hope the progress continues. He must be a most remarkable child and he is so fortunate to have such a strong support system.
My prayers continue.

Angello''s dressing was changed yesterday and it has made marked improvements.
They also took him off oxygen yesterday for a bit. He did fine.

His left diaphram is paralyzed but they are not too concerned aobut it now.

Unfortunately the little bugger removed; yes REMOVED his vac dressing exposing his open wound last night.
OH BOY. They put a temp. dressing on last night and the nurse will put the vac back on later today. His little arms are in restraints now so he can''t bend them at the elbow.

Poor thing. He just can''t keep from messing with stuff.

We should move to the floor later today.

Hehehe...he''s so cute sitting up...He''s like what happenin'' guys? :)

And YOU. Whatever lady. Yeah, you''re a big fat old hag.

Well the little guy must be feeling better! Hang in there Nan, we''re all pulling for you guys.

They gave Angello''s bed on the regular floor to someone else, so he gets to stay in the step down unit for now. Nan is thrilled!!!!

Very cool. I say, keep that kid under surveillance in case he decides to do some surgery on himself next!

Sounds like real progress - so happy for all of you

UPDATE: Geez, they are movong Angello tonight to the regular floor. The one saving grace is that it''s a private room, YAY. Once they get settled, I will be able to give you more info. But this is not something that we are jumping up and down about. This kid has been through soooooooooooo much and so has Nan, so they better watch their P''s and Q''s. He can''t take much more, he needs the best care there is and I just pray he gets it this time. I''m going to visit this Thursday and will bring all the good thoughts his way from our PS family.

Prayers continue... Thank goodness it''s a private room. One step at a time.

Great news that he''s well enough to go to the regular unit, but I hope the staff doesn''t get careless again.

Our first night on the floor wasn''t so bad. He slept very well.

They seem to be taking good care of him. The cardiologist and the cardiovascular surgeon were in this morning to track his
progress and to start making adjustments for home.

He''s in very good spirits.

Great news Nan!

awesome! :}

If he''s happy...then it''s all good!

You''ll have to show him these threads one day, to show how many people from around the world were thinking of him and wishing him well! I know my day isn''t complete until I''ve had my Angello update!

Thank you all (I''m in my secret hide-out in the Cardiac conference room) Bless the soul that left this computer logged in!

We had another quiet night.
Tomorrow the dressing will be changed again so hopefully we''ll see some more progress.
He''s been a happy camper on the floor (except when Mom goes out of sight-ugh)
