Hoping for a positive update since Lisa is visiting today. Maybe Angello will pose with her new ring?!?! Hope he''s feeling happy and strong enough to get out of there soon! Prayers continue.

Lisa and Nan are so busy fighting over the ring, they don''t have time to check in with us. Maybe sweet Angello can referee the brawl.
On the positive side his dressing change today looked excellent. The wound is healing rapidly and cleanly.
BUT,
They have been concerned about his oxygen numbers. He is currently on oxygen and every time they try to wean him down his numbers go south. They did an echo today and feel that his pulmonary arteries could use some assistance.
He will undergo a Heart Cath next Thursday! So we will see what they find at that point. They may need to put in a shunt and do some coiling.
So- we ain''t goin nowhere.
He is very happy and comfortable. He is playing and seems back to his old self.
I hope this is the last hump of a very long journey. 6 weeks and counting...........................
Yes the news was a big downer today. He did make a great hand model with my ring!!! He smiles and laughs and is just the sweetest baby. I miss him already.
Oh... I am so sorry to hear this, Nan. i''ve been checking this thread every day (to say the least) hunting down the moment of your checkout
I wish I was as close by as Kaleigh to help somehow. Without that blessing, I''ll keep holding those fingers crossed until this thread gets to its due happy end.
I have no idea what medical intricacies you are talking about - hopefully things sound better for the experts out there (which is usually the case).
I am trully amazed at your patience and good humor, Nan!
Very sorry to hear about the setback, but take heart in the good news and the fact that the doctors have a plan to deal with the oxygen issue, and know that you and Angelo remain in our prayers.
Gosh Nan I can only imagine how hard this has been on you and your family. Please hang in there and know that all our thoughts and prayers are with you for Angello''s recovery.
