Welcome home Angelo! I do think that being home will help him tremendously. I understand your worries and fears but the simple truth is that none of us truly know what will happen to any of us from day to day. We just have to try and stay positive, focused and grateful for each and every day we have.

He''s young . . . and doesn''t know enough to worry about himself. He just knows to smile and be happy - that is probably good medicine in and of itself. Surrounded by family and love I am sure he will grow stronger everyday.

You have been a trooper - for all of us with children - we try to imagine ourselves in your shoes. It is overwhelming to think of and you have done it with such grace. Hats off to you lady - you really are special!
Well said, MissGotRocks... I can''t think of anything to add except that I continue to send thoughts and prayers your way....

You and Angello really have touched a lot of people. My husband comes down every morning, sees me at the computer - and unvariably asks "How''s the little boy..." I hope to be able to tell him soon that Angello is out running around the backyard with his brothers and sisters.

I wish this thread would stay at the top of the page, but oh well. Nan is doing a great job juggling all of Angello''s medicines and she changed his chest wound dressing today. She said he was a very good patient. They go back on Wednesday for a check up and that''s all I can report for right now. He''s doing well and is soooo happy to be home with his family.

Angello is very happy to be home. He''s become quite stubborn. He wants what he wants; and he wants it NOW!

I also think that all those meds have him somewhat whacky.
They sent him home on 11 medications. Honestly; give me a break.

He''s very emotional too= the poor thing. He needs some good rest; and to put this behind him.

Nan, Angelo,

Welcome home. Good continued recuperating.

Warmest wishes to you and yours,
