Ooohhhh, I love both of these projects! Will you put diamonds down the shank with the tourmalines?
I don't think they need them at all, either. I just saw diamonds on your mock up which is why I asked. Was gonna say the colors are the show stoppers!Thank you! I wasn't really thinking of diamonds . The stones cover my finger edge to edge as it is, so not sure the diamonds are worth the effort...?
I can't wait to see what French cut spinels look like, I've never even seen one. The tourmaline color combo is amazing, just the most beautiful hues!
My garnet has an inclusion, but it’s hard to see unless magnified. I’m going to have to chalk up the $$$ for a custom setting. What secondary color do you guys see in this gem? That will determine the metal color I pick. Used my husband’s iPhone camera, because mine has a problem capturing accurate color.
My ring is completed and in my hands! I wanted to share Holly’s beauty shot of the ring because she always takes such lovely pictures of her finished work.
This is the first stone I have had set from my collection of loose Barry Bridgestock stones since his passing last year. Barry grew up not too far from where I live and we would always talk about the weather we experience in this region. The falling/fall leaves theme seemed fitting for this peridot, one of the first stones I bought from Barry back when I started collecting CS in 2014.
I can play, now that my JW Aqua and Morganite traps have been returned to me safe and sound after being stuck in the postal systems for nearly 7 months!
Here are the stones and setting inspiration, and it will be a ring for my middle left hand finger as the Aqua is over 6ct and quite big, and in 14K WG:
Hopefully, it will be ready in Q1 2022, perhaps in time as a birthday present to myself.

I love this DK! That's going to be amazing! Such soft pretty colors. Love the zircon with pink set too. That cutting is ooh la la
I LOVE how this ring turned out! Project by CRD. Emerald sourced by Enhoerning Jewelry, and red spinels and rubies sourced by CRD.
New phone wouldn't focus as sharply as my former Google pixel phone, but my former phone's camera died to a wash. It was the only phone in years I owned that wasn't waterproof, so I didn't realize it would wreck the phone.
Love the Matt white gold idea, looking forward to seeing the finished piece picture!
