Lighter green chrome diopside?

Hi all,

I've been asked to help keep a lookout for a 5-6 ct chrome diopside, cushion cut and in such a lighter green rather than the usual darker green. Preferably with no extinction. Origin isn't important.

It's a stone I know nothing about. The budget is us$100. Would you know if it's possible to find one in this colour and in the desired size for such a budget?

The lighter vivid green material is from Tanzania - Merelani. Bright color and like other gems from this location is vanadium an important coloring agent here too. Have to check the GIA article....

5-6 ct for 100 - no way!

I paid 100-120 Eur pct for 0,30-0,71 ct. Some color like your pic.
