does anyone have any advice on how to pick a reputable limousine company that won''t take you for a ride? i guess i''ve just had some bad experiences in other people''s weddings with the companies being sort of shady...

Where are you located? Maybe someone in your area has a recommendation.

there have been a couple of threads on this in Rocky Talky you may check those

Aren''t limos hundreds of dollars? Shoot, I''d start thinking about renting a Ferrari or something instead.

matatora,

what did you do your search under? i did a ''limo'' and ''limousine'' search and came out with mostly proposal ideas...

haha... a ferrari would definitely be my way to go... but the wedding party might have trouble fitting in there...

Just finished my wedding (north of Chicago). I had a good experience with North Shore Limo. They were clean, on time, no frills, and cheaper than others - about $200 (and that was with tip). Just needed a $75 deposit.

Most limos had a 3 hr minimum (we only needed an hour) and "wedding packages" with champagne/flowers/etc.. stuff we did not need.

I did consider Something Fancy in the area - a Bentley or RR - but did not want to spend $600 for 1 hour of use!

Also talked to this guy about his funky old packard after getting a referal.

thanks bertrand for the help... and CONGRATULATIONS on your wedding!!!

When one of my friends got married she used a trolley instead of a limo. It was a lot of fun. I believe it was "chicago trolley". Sorry if I mispelled it. I will check with her tonight.
