I haven''t posted in a while, but have been reading everyone’s posts - CONGRATS to everyone who has recently gotten engaged.

Last weekend was sooo hectic! I had my baby sisters High School Graduation (plus all her events like parties to go to) and a wedding!!! I was sad though because my Boy was in the wedding party and had to be there early and missed my little sisters graduation - he made it up to her by buying her a digital camera, sweet huh? - and the wedding was 4 hours away from where we live.

Graduation was great and my little sister looked so proud and beautiful up on the stage with her classmates. I am so excited for her because out of all my siblings (I have 4) she is the only one to "go" away for College, even if it is only a JC.

Next was the wedding, the last wedding I went to with Boy I ended up in tears...so I was hoping that this one would turn out better...and it did!!! Since it was his cousin''s wedding all his family was there. I swear as soon as we got out of that church, and even before we could congratulate the new bride and groom, his grand-parents were like so when is your trip down the aisle, eeekkk! Inside my head I was jumping up and down!!! Anyways all night his family keep asking, and telling, him that he''s next!!! The next part is my favorite................he agreed that he was next!

I''m so on cloud nine!

We both tried really hard to catch the bouquet and garter but they had pre-planned who they were going to throw it to! plus at the rehearsal dinner Boy told all the bridesmaids that I''d probably elbow everyone until I got it! He was wrong!!! Hehehe.....Sometimes he''s soooo dang cute.

Ok well that’s about it for now...

Weddings always get my guy talking about getting married. At the most recent wedding we attended, we were each the recipients of the bouquet and garter. It was totally pre-planned. I know I posted before about a similar situation happening where many posters were offended by such a situation but both SO and I cracked up. The pro photographer even got a shot of me hugging the bride after she "faked" the toss and walked the flowers up to me - the grin on each of our faces is priceless!

Aw! Sounds like you had a great time.

You really inspired me with this story. I recently went my bf's cousins wedding and was very upset when people would tell us we were next. I found it embarrassing being asked when we were getting married and because we were both speechless every time it happened! (He is financially strapped right now so who knows when it will be.)

At work the WHOLE next week I was so depressed about not being engaged yet, and starting obsessing! WHEN IS IT GOING TO HAPPEN?!?!?!?! Crazy obsessed...

Anyway, you inspired me to think that I should be excited his family thinks so highly of our relationship and that they would like to have me as a part of the family. Just in time too, we have another wedding in August and I will think of you!

We did have a great time...and actually we are still talking about it. I told him that I enjoyed his family talking like they did because it makes it easier for me to talk to him about it.

Don''t worry, my Boy and I have been dating for 4 years and 7 months (so I''ve had lots of time to obsess!!!), so I get depressed often about the same thing.

Keep your chin up...and make sure to have a blast at the wedding in August!!!
