My Little Queen finally has her crown.
Back story: fall 2016 my ering was upgraded, and the new setting - a simple yellow gold Tiffany style with monstrous prongs - was never comfortable. When I got divorced, it didn’t matter. Commissioned her for sale, and was relieved there were no takers.
Because I wanted her for a right hand ring decided on scrumptious rose gold (yellow gold felt too bridal) which has the added benefit of making the M color positively glow! She was always terrifically sparkly and creamy rather than yellow face up, but the rose gold adds a whole new dimension.
Did a custom cushion halo split shank in 14k rose gold. Center stone is a modern round 2.00 carat M color VVS2 natural diamond with marvelously chunky arrows. Can’t remember her exact HCA score but it was under 2.
Pardon the paint smudges on my hands - had kept myself busy waiting for her arrival by repainting the powder room.
