Monique Lhuillier designed the new 2006 Bride Barbie that is coming out on June 1. She is one lucky girl. Last year she wore Carolina Herrera & the year before it was Badgley Mischka.

Just in case you want to see the Carolina Herrera Bride Barbie

That''s so not fair! i don''t even want to know how much that barbie costs...collectors item.

I think I like this year''s the best out of all 3. That Barbie - she''s got it all.

As if she didn''t look skinny enough, they wrapped that giant bow around her 2 inch waist!!!

I love the way they did her hair and makeup though - very classy. Do you think it''s ok to show my makeup artist a doll and say I want to look like that? And maybe I''ll find a personal trainer and tell him the same thing!!!

I collect mostly the bridal barbies and have the Badgely Mischka and Carolina Herrera and definitely will get the Monique Lhuillier. They''re doing pre orders on ebay for about $80 that''s way cheaper than if you were to purchase them on barbiecollectibles.com I''m waiting for Reem Acra and Amsale to do one. The Vera Wang bride barbie is also a beautiful one and she was one of my greater finds. The dolls are amazing nothing like that to get you into the wedding mood.

thanks for posting! i love how their makeup and hair fit the dress. i was wondering if they had a reem... wonder if they will.

Wow, must be nice to be Barbie!! I''m kinda tempted to buy her but... I''m not so much of a Barbie collecter - although I do still have all of my old Barbies... And I have my mom''s Barbie that I assume she got in the early 1950''s along with a bunch of her clothes (you know that sparkly black dress with the tulle-like ruffle at the bottom? My favorite!). She has lost most of her hair (mom''s Barbie, not mom) but she''s still stylin''!

Incidentally, when we were moving last August, I was going through a couple of my storage containers of Barbie stuff (oh yes, I even still have Barbie furniture) and found a small jewelry type box and opened it up to find a satin wedding gown and tulle veil with little pearl beaded head band for my Barbie that my great grandmother had made for me many many years ago - had to have been late 1970''s. I had almost forgotten about it but was so excited to see it after so many years.

hehe i just check out barbiecollector.com and the gown desriptions are that out of the sunday paper!! this years even notes her "diamond" stud earrings and ring and a lace garter with blue detail. awe, her something blue!
