Looking at a reception site tonight!!!

FI, my mother and I are going to look at our probably reception site tonight after work! I think we''re having it at the Sheraton in Cranberry, PA. Woo hoo!!! I''m so excited! If all goes well, we''ll likely book it tonight! Yippee!

Good for you! Isn't it exciting? I went to look at a place this past Saturday and liked it so much that I now have a sample contract to look over and will most likely put a deposit on it Thursday. I'm just not sure if I'm getting a good deal or not, but it seems to be the least expensive and most flexible place so far. It's hard finding places here because of the hurricane. Nobody will call me back even after I bug then numerous times. We're on a tight budget and this place is 1250 for three rooms totalling 4000 sq ft. for four hours. One room is totally self decorated and very pretty, while the largest of the rooms has lots of potential with little decorating needed (all it really needs is tulle and christmas lights on the ceiling) and the last room is plain jane. It's the area cultural center or theater. Does that sound about right? The good thing though is they have a resturant on site that has yummy-sounding catering that will feed all our guests (about 130) from about 1500 to 3500 dollars, depending on if we want the least expensive or the most expensive sample menus. Even the least expensive one sounds yummy, so it's should save us some money. I attached a picture of the prettiest room, which we would use for the bar, dj and dance floor. It looks exactly like the picture, except in color.

I was so excited when we booked out reception site. I just loved it!!! Dh went with me to see it ... (but we are paying for it.. so he had to llike it first) and we loved ours!! I CANNOT wait to see some pictures of your place. Congratulations!!
