Looking for 0.5ct H&A

I'm ready to finally put the order through and get that diamond for my gf
I've made a decision that I would want a 0.5ct or up with H&A with no visible flaw to the eye, or however you call it, so I'm guessing VS2 or eye clean S1 and as far as color I remember last time I researched diamonds I wanted to find an H or above, but I need to look around and see why I made such decision
I checked the pricescope search and found one diamond that seems to be interesting, but as far as actual diamensions and the rest I need an input from you guys.

there is also this one, but it scores 2.0 and I remember reading that the lower the score the better, the one above scores 1.2

no, lower is not better, HCA is a rejection tool not a selection tool, anything that scores <2 is good, should be considered further with IS image/etc. what is your budget?

yap, HCA is a rejection tool not a selection tool.

Both idealscope image looks good, prefer the hearts image of the #2 stone.

Oh, see you learn something new every day, I thought the lower the score the better, so I did not look at 2.0 score and focused on finding low 1.x scores.
My budget is around $1000-1100 can't stretch it more unfortunatelly

Are the two that I posted above allright ? Is everything ok with them and I could order one or the other ?
James Allen has free shipping to Canada which is very good to me, and last time I wanted to buy a diamond and asked customer service to check if the diamond was eye clean I got a response from them that it actually wasn't, I was suprised by honesty.

Also how do these stand if I wanted to step up a color from H to G and step down on clarity from VS2 to S1 ?

So your saying that all 4 are ok or that only the 2nd one is ?
If one of those is eye clean are those good diamonds to buy ?
it's really hard for someone like me to buy, cuz there's thousands of variables and different diamonds to choose from

Basically, since there is a premium associated with H&A stones, if a supposed H&A stone does not have the optical symm, then why pay for it?

Only #2 has a hearts image that demonstrate good optical symm. If it is eye-clean I would buy it. If not, I would choose some non-H&A and ask JA for idealscope image for these.

remember HCA is a blunt rejection tool, numbers + IS + ASET + pictures is much better, trusted vendor recommendation is the best
