Looking for a New Sapphire for a Ring

My husband and I are looking to replace a stone in my engagement ring. The current stone is quite dark, and since we just celebrated our 5 year anniversary we want to upgrade to a better color stone. I was wondering if anyone here had purchased a sapphire through James Allen online? Below are a few from the site that I'm interested in. Let me know you thoughts.



All are heated at range in size from 1.73-1.77 cts. the First stone is $990, the Second $1,100 and third $1,500. Are those reasonable prices?

I have purchased from James Allen before and they are great to deal with. I personally prefer their diamonds and would look at many cutters before purchasing a sapphire.

I've always admired GemFix stones. Any thoughts on this one: https://gemfix.com/gems/sapphire-blue-11-1274. It's a 7x6mm by 6.6mm - do you think that would still fit a 8x6 setting?

I think you could do better for $2000, but that may be totally wrong. I see some dark spots on one of the ends of the stones and on one of the sides. Maybe if you got some pictures that weren’t in crazy studio lighting?

Although my favorite it this one... do you see how it’s even colored and just saturated and no dark spots? EDIT it will likely fit your setting! I hope you love it and get it because it’s beautiful!
