If you enjoy hearing personal stories, he’s one of my favourite cousins. He’s much older than me and has always looked out for me, like an older brother or uncle would. He’s had a lot to deal with: his wife left him and his house burned down, all in the same year. I don’t know for sure but I imagine the marriage underwent a lot of strain when they experienced a tragedy with their child. It’s not my story to tell. Anyways, through it all he has always kept on keeping on! And always thinks of others, and let me know he was there for me when I moved to a new city away from most of my family.

ANYWAYS, he now has a new home, a new girlfriend, and I’m hoping things are looking up for him from here on out :) Finding his gal a great necklace is very exciting for me. My cousin helped me find my car (something I know nothing about) for a VERY good price and I’m so grateful every day. I hope to return the favour by finding her an epic deal on a great piece!

It needs to be yellow gold, she’s totally down with vintage, and she seems to be pretty darn fashionable. So more current or trendy than funky and unique.

This is one she liked the Etsy photo of, but when I asked the seller for a neck pic, we agreed it was kind of meh.

Ok, she’s looking for amethyst in yellow gold or a clear stone in yellow gold, or just a gold pendant.
 
What about a pearl pendant? Lots of super nice options:

Otherwise there are also plenty of preloved options, but after you have paid for the time to fascet a stone, plus the time to set it and the gold it will be hard to find a lot of good new options at the $200 mark. So the preloved items you will be looking at will need to be steeply discounted.
