Ah, I wish I had the stone! My bonus should be here Tuesday afternoon and I’m hoping to make the purchase then :) I’ve not posted the stone itself for fear of lurkers but have had multiple sets of eyes on and I do LOVE it!

The stone in my avatar is Chaleur, my warm lab grown MRB.

We’re so close!!!

I don’t think I’ll be able to sleep tonight! I hope my bonus goes in like normal (4 pm!) otherwise I’ll be a wreck! My son has a UIL competition tomorrow and I’ll be busy/distracted most of the day so the time should fly by!

Also, my emojis stopped working for PS - the drop down menu doesn’t allow me to use them.

My husband laughed at me yesterday - I’ve been walking around with a cutout of the sketch I made for my desired setting…taped to my finger LOL! How else am I supposed to get a feel for the size and look when I’m in this stage of planning?!

It's so strange! I have 2 different tracking numbers for the mold. I wonder if David did one with the narrow shank and one with the wider shank? Oh gosh, sorry! You weren't asking about my mold lol! Where there's quick update anyway ;)

One says it will be here today, but based on the tracking information, it looks more like tomorrow.

You’re so positive!!! I try not to get too excited in case something awful happens and I get let down. Trauma response lol! If the diamond is still available I’m 95% positive I will be purchasing it :)

Distractions are good, I just wish we didn’t have to be up at 5 am! I was born asleep, at 7:06 am and I’m a firm believer that it’s because my body already knew I was meant to sleep in!

I wasn’t not asking about your mold update ;) I’m excited and can’t wait to see how it looks - this is fun part of the process where you get to see your vision come to life!

LOL I’m at 95% because I wanted a few more pictures, some outside and a hand shot! I’m still impatiently waiting for my bonus :)

For those who know or don’t know, my son’s varsity strings orchestra competed in UIL (a scholastic competition) this morning. They received all 1s in their judged categories (the highest marks) and received what’s called a sweepstakes! Exciting morning thus far! Just need the diamond to top it off!

Is your mold coming today?!

It's under the Lab grown forum. Inked's thread, Loose Grown Labs has OEC's and they're inexpensive. Something like that lol!
There are pictures of the lab diamond I bought and of the setting I am having David make.

It is a fantastic time to be on Pricescope!!! I love seeing all of the new beautiful projects being done! So much eye candy!!!!

It's here! There are 2 molds. I can't tell them apart lol! I have another package coming tomorrow from David. I wonder if that's the one with the wider shank? It's beautiful as beautiful as a mold can be ;) I don't think it looks to big at all!!!

Ok, stone update! My funds did come in but the vendor was already leaving for the day. We’re going to connect in the morning :)

Very promising! If you can see pictures or video of the stone resting on the hand between the fingers that would be helpful as sometimes stones with this type of faceting (big block facets under the table) can have leakage under the table. I'm not seeing red flags for that in this video, but its good to have the more diagnostic photos videos on the hand in any case. I'm not sure this vendor is big on offering more images/videos, so if you order it that's something to look at in person.

Thank you for the feedback! I do have a black and white video but it flashes by so quickly, another of the stone on a white background that shows the pastel flashes which are truly lovely. I was unable to crop those so I didn’t upload those here. I did send the full video to a jeweler I trust and they seemed to think the stone was beautiful and said the price was fair. The stone is a little over 3 carat and an NVS1 - polish is very good and symmetry is good, no flor, table at 50% and depth at 63.75.
 
Also, I have a migraine so if at any point I don’t make sense or can’t spell…don’t hold it against me me :lol-2:

I do and I’m sure you can tell who the vendor is and I think you and a few other experts have had good things to say about them. Part of the reason I feel so comfortable doing this “online”, in addition to all the others that shop with them. Making these types of purchases is nerve wracking - I’ve been buying lab grown for so long now that I felt a lot less risk with the price points but this makes me a little woozy. Excited but woozy :mrgreen2:
