Hello everyone...i hope all of you are well....first post here....I am planning to get engaged and looking for a diamond ring. I would like to know if there is any seller here you recommend for buying a loose diamond oval in 1CARAT ? My plan is to mount atleast 1 carat as a center stone. What would be the ideal configs for this diamond and what to look for? Almost all of them I have seen in my local store has black bow tie effect. Thank you for your help.

Fellow Canadian here. Jonathan is great to work with and his ovals are what I’d suggest too. I find ovals are tough to have no bow tie and it’s worth paying extra for his precision cut ones.

His stones are all cut for top light performance. I haven’t seen his ovals in person but i would imagine they’re like his other cuts with amazing light performance and top AGS grade.

And importing loose diamond means you pay just the GST/PST/HST wherever you are, no duty.

With diamond, especially fancier cuts, Ovals we can’t say anything without images.
