looking for pictures of a setting............

shank looks like two narrow bands right next to eachother but it is really one with a seam and both have bead set, square cuts, or baguettes channel set into them

close but not quite ....i saw a ring in one of tiffanys yearly blue books (with all the really amazing stuff in it) and they showed a plat artd eco ring, with a square emerald, surrounded by baguettes(not what i want) and the band came up set with squares that graduated slightly highly........i was imagining a double of the that somehow???

Yes I am excited...i am not 100% sure about the mounting but it will something similar if not the same. The big question is the stone: I am looking for something that equals the beauty of my existing stone (in my biased opinion) plus some carats and there doenst seem to be an abundance of those. However, I am not in a hurry or anything, so it will just be a matter of time.

the million dollar question.........i will let the vendor handle it as before --they are really quite quality oriented so i will have to 1) be uber specific and 2) trust them and they came through before ...in a fashion....seriously they offered to completely remake it............i declined cause I wasnt sure.

And--while this ring si nt quite what I wanted it is really exceptional in many ways. People always ooh and aah and ask to try it on or look at it. One obnoxious jeweler asked if she could photgraph it for her idea archives and i said sure.

My main concern is the stone--and my husband is still reeling from the whole notion that more carats is more money..........and that theprices for carats in big stones go up differently than the carats in smaller stones--

This time I know more too --and where to be specific etc. I actually have a very simple idea for the mounting so i think it will be less complicated than before .......................(even less so than the T & co ring Matatora posted)
