Looking to source an aquamarine

I’m looking to source an aquamarine for a ring for my wife. She’s always loved aquamarines and I’m hoping to purchase one for our anniversary in October. Ideally, I think she’d like an emerald cut, possibly 2-2.5cts. Where would be the best place to look?

What is your budget? Do you want a complete ring? Or a stone to be set?

Ideally I’d like to spend less than $500 for the aquamarine. Right now I was just looking for the stone, but am open to complete rings.

Trying posting in the preloved thread. Aquas are really popular around here. And do try Etsy. Beware of aquas looking blue but turn out to be completely transparent. Please ask for hand shots to check saturation.

Also Gemrite is a good vendor to ask for aquamarines. I got one from them recently.

This is an ebay site that has good reviews. I bought a 1 ct Brazilian Aquamarine unheated that I love from them! Check it out if you choose to bid or use ebay.............. vendor has been used by other PS'er's, I believe.

I wouldn't go for the really cheap stuff, but ask questions if you are interested.........the one I bought was native cut, but looked concave due to the faceting.........some unique stuff there, sometimes.
