I have found that I am an excellent judger. I judge somebody the instant I meet them or am told about them. They go into 3 categories; good, bad and need more info. Pretty self explanatory. I have done this since I was very little and needed to make choices to take care of myself.

DH brought up one thing. I can "read minds." I know I know. "Yeah, right!" It's not so much the "reading" of the mind, but people I'm close to have things "fall out" of their heads. I answer questions before they're asked, grab an item that someone is about to want, etc. It's like an extreme form of finishing someone's sentences. DH will even have a song stuck in his head and without saying a word to me, I will start humming the song.

I naturally look past the way things are and see them as they should be, and if it's something I care very much about, I have the vision and focus to design and follow a plan to make it happen.

I'm naturally very diplomatic, and thus I typically give people the benefit of the doubt, and I'm a great mediator.

I am extremely creative in thought, vision, and my ability to actually create *things*.

Seriously though, that is something that I lack. I have no great talent. I am not creative, am tone deaf and before PS I had no passion.

Fun facts: Shoulders are double jointed and I can fit my fist in my mouth.

I think that it is really cool that some of you are so in-tune with what is going on around you with other people. I am not at all. I believe anything anyone tells me. I have no ability to see whats below the surface or read between the lines. I dont even pick up on passive aggressive behavior.

I've got an excellent judge of character and integrity. The surface claims don't fool me. I'm not 100% online where people have the opportunity to edit themselves, but in person and even on the phone, I am really good. My mom was lousy so I learned a lot from that.

Ohhhh ditto. Especially the song thing! I dunno if thats just spending a lot of time with someone though ie, being very close creates a sorta 'connection" coz I don't do it with any one else but DH or occasionally my sisters.

I wanted to add to mine if I may.

I am a natural at yoga... no really... I am. I've been told I should teach... I've taken half a class ever.

I can read a full novel in a day.

I can clean, load, handle most large guns. Small guns I am terrified of. Go figure.

I can type faster than most.

I'm really good at decorating. When I'm done, things just seem in the right place. My grandma used to let me do all the holiday decorating.

I can make friends with a wide array of people. Although I wish I had a few REALLY CLOSE friends, I am happy to know too that I have many many many friends.

I can write. I can write well. I'm in the midst of a novel. I have another few in my head.

I'm extremely generous. I am perhaps too generous. I am also perhaps too forgiving.

Me too. That's honestly been my overriding thought reading this thread - there isn't anything at which I'm especially talented.

I only do it with people I'm close to like DH, mom, sisters, close friends.

On Saturday, DH was looking for something. He didn't say what it was and it had nothing to do with what was going on but I told him where it was. He says, "Can't you just let me think you don't know everything??" Um, NO!

Example: We had a neighbor next door at our last home. First time we saw her walking her dog I told my husband that she was cuckoo for CocoPuffs. First glance. Never spoke to her. Sure enough, it didn't take long to find out she was completely bonkers. So nuts she scared the beejesus out of my A/C repair guy. His comment was "She needs help, don't you think?" Yep. I coulda told ya that. With just one look.

I would love a "read" on my new DIL, I can't figure her out! I am willing to post a picture of her. Can you read that?

They kinda half to be 'alive' when I see them. It's a combination of visual clues, I guess.
