Thanks for the link to your invitations. They look great!! I have a few questions about them, if you don''t mind...

a.) On the panel section, did you have to cut both the green layer and white layer individually or were you able to find paper in those sizes. Is this something that Kinko''s could do for me?

b.) For the printing did you just take all the materials cut to size and the files for the items or did you make a mock-up at home and have them print from that?

c.) Aprox. how much did this cost per invite for everything? (if you don''t mind my asking) We are on a tight budget and I had resigned myself to having just plain black/white/green invites, but if I could make something that incorporated damask into it that came out even half as nice as yours I would be all for it.

Thanks a lot.

Thanks gtn! This is where I first saw her invites, but am a little confused about the process still.

Hi! Thanks for the compliments!...I''ll try to answer your questions:

a.) On the panel section, did you have to cut both the green layer and white layer individually or were you able to find paper in those sizes. Is this something that Kinko''s could do for me?
I had Kinkos cut the green paper and I cut the white layer myself using a big cutter. Reason being that Kinkos cutting is not exact. Also, when you make color copies, the print moves from page to page so for the actual invite I just felt better cutting it one by one...time consuming, but worth it!. For the programs I had Kinkos cut everything and they were some were you could definitely spot mistakes on the cutting...
b.) For the printing did you just take all the materials cut to size and the files for the items or did you make a mock-up at home and have them print from that?
I used 8.5x11 for everything...so for example, for the invites, my layout had 2 per page...for the inserts it was 3 per page and so forth. I cut them after they were printed.
c.) Aprox. how much did this cost per invite for everything? The damask was the cheapest!....just go to istockpoto.com and download your favorite background and incorporate it. My invites came out to be about $3.50 per invite or so...but I had tons of left over paper and also left over pocketfolds (that were $1.00 each). The left over paper was used on everything else (thank you cards, placecards, table names, bookmarks, etc)....so in reality the actual cost is probably less if you consider I created other things with the same materials.

I hope that helps!!!
