Ok, I have been a long time lurker. I barely post here. AND this is just a teaser post.
1. Couple months ago I bought a toumaline from AJS gems. It turned out that the color was bad (a very pale green, totally unlike what they posted on the website). However, because the stone was not expensive ($90), I kept it.
2. Couple months ago I bought a malaya garnet (an orange color) from a cutter in NY.
3. Last week I bought another gem stone, a zircon, from the same cutter.
4. Tomorrow will make up my mind whether to go with a 0.94 ct solasfera diamond, or a 1 ct solasfera diamond. I will also have a H & A diamond mail to me for comparison.
Aren''t you guys excited for me? The drawback with all the excitements is that I can set up only 1 stone. It will be very likely that once I have the diamond set in a ring, my other gems would have to wait for a while.
I will post the pictures when I got the stones early next week. I will have a new camera next week and I will post pictures.
