Hi,

I am in search of styles for marquise pendants. I''m turning my mom''s engagement ring into a necklace and want to have some ideas before I go to the designers. Its rather modest, she doesnt know much about it, but since she''s divorced she really has no use for it. I''d love to put it into something thats just sort of delicate looking, which I think it''ll look delicate anyway since its not huge. But its pretty.

Anyway, I was thinking something like a RB with the Marquise set east/west and then another RB, but I''d love to see some other options...does anyone have any pictures???? I think I''ve seen one on here, but any help would be really appreciated!

Thank you in advance!!!!

That would work nicely on a short chain with some care taken to keep the marq from spinning bottom up. Pretty cool idea I must say

I don''t have a picture of it, but one of the nicest pendants I saw in a while was a large pearl with a marquise diamond set as "bail". Just wonderful day-into-evening piece... if you like pearls that is.

LOL, that was my first e-ring stone from my ex-husband and I wore this pendant on my wedding day to websailor.

Is that bad luck?

I think it would really nice to have a bezel set marquis set East/West. Very simple and pretty! If anyone finds that , I''d love to see it!

Thank's for the picture & input. Cflutist, yours is pretty! I had seen it posted here before. I guess I'll take my ideas to the designer when I get some time and I'm sure I'll post a pic when its done
