Where are you getting married Janine?
Here in California, you have 3 months (I think) to get married from when you get your license. All you need is a drivers license and some money to pay for it.
There are also two types of licenses...but the names escape me at the moment. One is where your license is public record and you can get married anywhere in the state. The other is private, but you must get married in the county where you applied for it.
Neatfreak, nope, you don''t need to bring a witness to get your marriage license.Date: 7/10/2007 5:52:46 PM

TGal- You don''t have to bring a witness in CA right? FI and I are scheduled to get ours next week when I go out to CA, but we don''t know anyone else in the city!
Yup, correct! Just you and your man in the line with the rest of the lovebirds! It''s actually quite fun to people watch...some people don''t look as happy as they should!Date: 7/10/2007 6:02:14 PM
