Well it''s been a lil over a month now since we finally got hitched!

We had a beautiful ceremony and a HUGE reception with many memories to laugh about when we think back about our special day.

For those interested, I posted a few pictures from our photographer ..... http://www.kodakgallery.com/I.jsp?c=f8qqoln.3fllotpf&x=1&y=s086rb We ended up with over 3200 pictures that we still have to go through to put together our photo album. We had done the flowers ourselves. I had hand tied all the bouquets myself the morning of the wedding while my make-up artist was doing our hair and makeup!

The day was very long, woke up at 5am for hair and make-up, tea ceremony at 10 am, church ceremony at 2pm then reception for over 500 guests at 6pm. Would you believe I was late to my own reception!!! It took a lil bit longer than I expected for my make-up artist to do the touch-up''s and traffic wasn''t being kind to me either. Then right before our toast and first dance, we had the lights go out at the restaurant because they blew the circuits! But over all, we loved to see all our friends, family and loved ones share with us our special day. We didn''t even get to eat much at our reception, so that night when we got home at 1am, we both had a cup-o-noodle for dinner and fell fast asleep.

For our "honeymoon", we ended up going back to Vietnam with my family for 3 weeks. It was my first trip back after leaving 30 years ago. It was an eye-opening experience, and learning much about my heritage.

O Tulipcloud! You look so beautiful! Congrats

WOW! You looked GORGEOUS! You hubby is VERY handsome too! I love both of your gowns, the blue color is so pretty and the white wedding gown makes you look sooooo teeeny.. I love the style on you. Of course, I adore all the pics of the flowergirls and ringbearrer.. Just too cute! Your photographer did a fantastic job. I love the pics of your families'' faces.. such true emotion!

Wow - you looked stunning & what a beautiful day - as Melissa said, your photographer did an excellent job of capturing the joy, tradition, and reverance of the day. All of it looked amazing. Congratulations!!

How wonderful!

Congrats!

your dress looked absolutely amazing on you!!!! you looked so beautiful and the bouquets looked great! I cracked up to see the bottles of cognac on each table--so vietnamese! we''re still trying to work that out since our venue requires us to have an open bar (thru them of course

) but i still wanted the cognac for the tables with my parents friends for tradition''s sake.

I wasn''t sure how I would handle the dress changes, but I was thinking ao dai for the tea ceremony, white dress for the other ceremony, introduce in white dress, chao ban in ao dai (same from the morning for me though...can''t afford two!) then back into whith dress for the rest of the night. Is that how you did it? Did you have your ao dais made or did you rent? where sis you have it made? i like how your hat is smaller...i don''t liek the recent wearing-a DISH-satellite on your head look. Honestly don''t love the hat at all (my friend didn''t wear one when she got married) but I prob will cuz i wouldn''t feel complete withoiut it...i''m more of a traditionalist I guess!!

i was born here and went to vietnam for the first time at the end of college. truly eye opening to see where you come from. i loved it and left just wanting to do so much to help everyone still there. i can''t wait to go back, but the thought of the filght on motion sick me is

You look so beautiful! And your Maggie made you TINY!!! Although I''m not quite sure what you were worried about in the first place.

Your photographer captured an amazing range of emotion. And what cutie flower girls and ring bearer! Did you make their pomanders too? I am impressed! Nice BM dress selection, the ice blue is lovely on all the girls, and it''s something they can definitely wear again.

And since this is Pricescope and we think about these things here, Holy Bling-Bling Girl! Nice necklace and studs set!

Congratulations, welcome back (you old married lady, you
