Well it''s been a lil over a month now since we finally got hitched!
We had a beautiful ceremony and a HUGE reception with many memories to laugh about when we think back about our special day.
For those interested, I posted a few pictures from our photographer ..... http://www.kodakgallery.com/I.jsp?c=f8qqoln.3fllotpf&x=1&y=s086rb We ended up with over 3200 pictures that we still have to go through to put together our photo album. We had done the flowers ourselves. I had hand tied all the bouquets myself the morning of the wedding while my make-up artist was doing our hair and makeup!
The day was very long, woke up at 5am for hair and make-up, tea ceremony at 10 am, church ceremony at 2pm then reception for over 500 guests at 6pm. Would you believe I was late to my own reception!!! It took a lil bit longer than I expected for my make-up artist to do the touch-up''s and traffic wasn''t being kind to me either. Then right before our toast and first dance, we had the lights go out at the restaurant because they blew the circuits! But over all, we loved to see all our friends, family and loved ones share with us our special day. We didn''t even get to eat much at our reception, so that night when we got home at 1am, we both had a cup-o-noodle for dinner and fell fast asleep.
For our "honeymoon", we ended up going back to Vietnam with my family for 3 weeks. It was my first trip back after leaving 30 years ago. It was an eye-opening experience, and learning much about my heritage.
